About This Site

This site collects comprehensive material on the artworks, exhibitions, bibliographic information, and other artist activities of Yoshitomo Nara, spanning from 1983 when he began his professional career to the present day. The Yoshitomo Nara Foundation manages and operates this site with the objective of collecting and providing accurate information on the artist and his works.

• Basic information on artworks is taken from Yoshitomo Nara: The Complete Works (Bijutsu Shuppan-sha, published 2011), and Rabbit Hills Co. Ltd. together with Yoshitomo Nara himself. The information also reflects the results of the Foundation’s research, and is periodically updated.
• All of the images used were selected arbitrarily from currently available sources by the Foundation.

About the Foundation

The Yoshitomo Nara Foundation was established to create a platform for people in Japan and overseas to have perpetual access to the artwork of Yoshitomo Nara, as well as accurate information and materials regarding his works. Through various enterprises, the Foundation aims to create viewing opportunities for Nara’s works, and to archive and publish comprehensive information on the artist as a research resource.
